It’s grown in quite a bit. The ferns I put in there rotate out pretty quickly and decided to run their roots down the waterfall. I added a couple of new species at the top. I trimmed the moss down twice very early on, but the growth has slowed a bit and I haven’t messed with anything in a while. The wood grows some mold patches but the springtails always clean it up within a couple of days which is satisfying.

When you trim the moss, do you leave the clippings in or remove them?

What tall, thick, lustrous moss. What kind is it?
