Is this a joke? You better make sure it works before paying $90

That blower is available from Stihl new. Normally run over $350 new. Check to make sure it works but those are awesome blowers. I love mine.

Stihl backpack blowers are some of the best imo.

Does nobody see the onboard tool holder in the second picture? If that holds up that’s really nice

That blower is horrible. I would look for a used 600 or a 700. They are much better than this old dinosaur.

I have this same model. I bought it in 2000 or 2001. Still runs great. That being said, it doesn’t move a large enough volume of air to be very effective in wet conditions. I’d consider something newer if you have big expectations for it. As far as reliability goes, I’ve never done anything to mine except a couple spark plugs and an air filter. For the first 3 or 4 years of its life, I mowed lawns in my early 20s with it and did probably 10 customers a week, so it got some good use beyond what a homeowner would see.

BR800 from Stihl is what I run, I think its the more modern version of this. Its a bit heavier but not having to take the machine off to restart is worth it to me. But I think they are like $650 right now. I would buy this it were local, pretty easy to scrounge up enough parts to get any 2-stroke running either way.
