If it’s still savable how can I revive it? Pot has drainage hole and I water every day, sometimes I place it in the windowsill to get some light but otherwise it stays on the table

We’re past dead at this point, the memorial has already been held 💀

If by Dead you mean totally not alive, then yes.

Only water when the plant needs it. Watering every day is rarely a good idea.

My plant looked just like yours because I forgot to water it after going on vacation. I thought for sure it was dead. Took it outside and just left it on my deck in the shade. About three months later I saw a little speck of green popping up. Couldn’t really believe it! Trimmed off all of the dead sprigs and now after about a month it looks like this.

Water every day? No plant needs that much water! Check the roots, cut the dead leaves and sit it next to a window that gets indirect light not direct sun. Water it every 10 days make sure the soil is not still moist before you water it… dip your finger in and if it’s moist leave it another week. Let it recuperate and set it aside.

water every day?? and you move it around from table to windowsill?

plants need light, and not that much water. you drowned your plant in boggy soil! and it may not have been getting enough light, either

Probably. BUT…you can remove all the dried fronds, remove what’s left with root ball from the current soggy soil. Repot in a smaller pot with loose airey soil. Enclose in a zip lock type bag and put in a warm, bright location. Keep fingers crossed. Maybe…just maybe some growth will appear.

not necessarily dead. Try cutting back all foliage and water when it’s dry. It could grow back.

I didn’t think it was possible to kill this plant. Been fighting it in my garden for years.

Dig it out and look at the roots! In my experience these things don’t really mind getting waterlogged as much as other things. Mine died back like this from under watering but the roots were fine. If there’s any black tissue on the roots, remove it. Water once a week

  11. I think you just needed us to give you closer here lol

  12. I killed mine a few times. If the root system is still alive, it may come back. Cut back the stalks to about half inch tall. Water moderately and give it light.
