  1. We normally go out on adventures in The Smokies checking out new attractions & restaurants, but today's video is at home. We hope you find this video showing how we built a trellis to make you jealous (h/t Josh Sattin Farming) along with our backyard garden tour for 2024! Let us know if you would like to see our solar system set up…

  2. I really enjoyed this video, I was just wondering what I was going to use for my cucumber plants and I went and got what you did, thank you so much for showing us this, yes more on your orchard and veggies it's interesting, hope everyone is doing well , God Bless

  3. Great video. Your garden looks really good. I like the way you use the containers.. its a great idea. And I dont know if you have squirrels but they will definitely eat all the fruit. And it dont take them long to get all the fruit. Thanks for sharing..

  4. Thanks for the garden video, your garden and fruit trees are very nice. Please do a video on your solar system. Do you all have any neighbors thinking about selling, we would love to live in your neighborhood! God bless Brother!

  5. Would love to see the solar video, my wife said upside down duck tape inside the handles limits the spiders making homes there.

  6. Thanks for sharing very beautiful land there! We are interested in seeing the Solar set up video when you can show it

  7. I used Irish Spring Soap about every 20 feet from my fruit trees…seems to keep the deer at bay and it's not harmful to the deer

  8. 😂 Now I know where Hannah gets her goofiness! Great job on the trellises. I might have to try that. Thanks for the idea.

  9. For my tomatoes, I use old wooden ladders that I buy at yard sales for $5. Some are starting to turn this week. I would like to see a follow-up as they grow and produce for you. Also you solar set-up.

  10. Great vlog, Ryan. You are doing a wonderful job with the home garden. I have found that I've quadrupled my potato crop in my grow bags/containers with one simple adjustment. I plant the seed potatoes under just about 6" of soil. When the plants start to grow and get to be about 6" tall, I add soil to cover all except a bit of green leaves above. I repeat that process until the soil is level with the top of the bag/container. Each newly covered section of the plant sends out new roots, and because potatoes are tubers, you'll find that the potatoes grow in every layer as a result. Large ones on the bottom, working up to fingerling size at the top. Tomatoes benefit from clipping the lowest stems and burying deep for extra rooting as well. I hope this helps, my fellow gardening nerd. May you and your beautiful family be abundantly blessed. In Christ, G5 🙏🏽🫶🏽

  11. That looks like Wears Valley area. Best taters I grew were in wet straw on top of tilled soil. They can root into the soil but the taters stayed clean and kept bright red color up in the straw layer. Just have to make sure they get plenty of water.

  12. Very nice, makes things easier all the way around. And to,not having to bend over when cucumbers are ready to pick.

  13. Awesome idea and execution! What are those black containers boxes that the plants are growing in. Never seen those before. How is Brie doing?

  14. I really enjoyed this video our gardens are not successful and you have showed the best solution inexpensively . Thank you!
