Is this thrips? Fungal infection? Overwatering?

I think a few of my monsteras have thrips (not 100% sure, but have quarantined them, washed them, and treated with insecticide just in case). Appeared yellow 2 days ago and now today I’ve noticed all the black dots, the side with more on was away from the light – seriously panicking!

My plant collection has grown about 20x in the past year and worried something is going to infect them all…

I believe that it’s just a rooted leaf of the species, not a plant.
Once they hit a stage of (Programmed Cell Death) apoptosis, not much can be done.
There is over 8 different types of (Programmed Cell Death) for the species.
It can be triggered by disease, insects, to much heat, cold, water stress, UV-light, too much (Iron, Phosphate, Magnesium, Boron).
I believe that starting over is the only option.
    my condolences.

I agree. The leaf has been sitting in the dirt basically rotting from the bottom up.
