I recently went to disney world and while i was there i bought a few plants and this was one of them. Im not sure what it is the tag just says foliage but to me it looks kind of like an elephant ear? Anyways when i first got it the leaves were dark green and looked healthy but within one week of being at my house half the leaves are yellow. What have i done wrong? The plant is about 3 feet away from my grow light and is about 15 feet away from a west facing window. I have watered it once since i got it.

It looks like it’s in a beaker? Does it have any drainage?
That’s an alocasia, looks like a dragon scale. Most likely an over watering issue. I’ve found that self watering pots work best for them, letting them dry out thoroughly in between refills. Some people also grow in leca and that seems to work well.
This is a dragon scale alocasia. It needs good drainage to thrive.
