I just got this plant like a week and a half ago and she's wilted and dying. I watered her on the day I was told to and I keep the window open during the day to give her sunlight. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I was really excited about having a monstera adansonii. Any help would be really appreciated

If you live somewhere cold, keeping the window open will kill any plant very quickly.

I’d bet if you pulled those vines out that they have minimal to no roots. A lot of plant sellers will just
stick an unroofed cutting in soil and immediately sell it.

I would try gently tugging and see if it has a root system. It probably needs more water.

These ladies need a ton of humidity. Put her in the bathroom or hanging over the kitchen sink.

If it’s cold where you live, the trip home could’ve shocked or damaged her, it doesn’t take long. Just walking to your car from inside a store will be enough to kill some plants. If she’s not over watered, give her some time to recover. Maybe try misting the leaves to help her along especially if the air is dry in your home

Get those thirsty roots in some room temperature water. Put her in a well lit area and keep her warm..

  6. I got the exact same recently. Just give her some water she’ll be fine 🙂
