On a repotting mission of many of my Pothos and vining plants, 2 of them in small-medium sized planters had very (white) moldy soil 🫣 so I removed all of the soil and bagged it for disposal, then rinsed and rinsed in the tub until all dirt was removed for the roots and leaves. Can I safely just transplant them now into fresh soil and new pot, or should they be treated somehow to avoid bringing along spores! The last few pictures are of what I have left after cleaning

i’d spray w some alcohol to disinfect – sprinkle some cinnamon on the dirt before u place the plant in soil (it’s supposed to be anti-fungal)
mine has survived the trenches with me
These are perfectly healthy plants to repot 🙂
Mold doesn’t necessarily mean bad. But it does mean the soil is staying wet for too long, providing the perfect environment for mold to grow. When you repot, use a good chunky mix. An easy one is equal parts soil, orchid bark and large perlite.
They’ll be perfectly fine. The fungus isn’t bad or anything, it’ll sort itself out. Don’t treat it or you’ll also kill off the beneficial mycorrhizae fungi. Plants look great!
I would have definitely already cut pieces off to get propagating, but I believe if you use a little hydrogen peroxide in your new soil, you will be ok. I’d maybe soak roots in clean distilled water and wash all mold off or separate if you can’t completely remove it all and use watered down hydrogen peroxide to rinse your roots right before you put in fresh soil. You have so much green on them, you should be able to save enough for plenty more plants. I’m still kind of new and learning, but I’ve had decent luck with hydrogen peroxide, and i got it from advice I found on reddit.
1000%!
absolutely!!! pothos are indestructible. get rid of the dried out dirt and spread the roots on some fresh potting soil. you don’t need a deep pot
The plant is healthy with healthy soil. That stuff you see isn’t mold, it’s mycorrhizal fungi.
