I’m kind of new to the plant world, but yesterday I bought five plants and I’m looking for the best tips and tricks to take care of them. I got a Chinese Money Plant, Marble Queen Pothos, Watermelon Peperomia, Calathea Dottie, and an Emerald Beauty Chinese Evergreen.

Touch and get to know the feeling of the leaves of every plant so you can tell when they turn softer and may need water. Also make a habit of really looking at the plant and leaves, all sides, so you can discover a bug infestation before it’s taken hold.

Place then in the conditions each of them need (full sun, partial shade, high moisture etc. – Google the plant names) and you’ll all be off to a fine start. Best of luck!

Don’t blame yourself for anything bad happening to the calathea, I hear they’re the most dramatic plants ever. Water the pothos only when you see the leaves wilting, keep it in bright to medium light, and it’s gonna do well. If you want it to get massive, give it a moss pole to climb! I can’t give any advice for the rest, but I hear the peperomia and the pilea are frustrating.
