Dear God. If I were you, I’d accept the desolation. Just sit on the rocking chair, smoke and stare blankly.

  2. Mow weekly in the growing season would be a great start.

Glyphosate the whole area. Wait 1-2weeks. Hire a small kanga/bobcat. Remove whole top 120-150mm of ground. Replace with 100mm of premium top soil. Spread and level. Add whatever nutrients you want to soil. Order new turf. Lay turf. Water like buggery for weeks. Then spend the rest of your life trying to keep it weed/grub/fungi free.

I believe there’s a guy in the southern US who can bring a bunch of goats around for a night.

That’ll clear it. Then you can install some reticulation, put down a layer of good quality soil and lay lawn rolls right on top.

I have/had some like that in my backyard, and they are really easy to just pull out with roots attached. I’d give that a try first….😉

Start with whatever tools you have and take it one day at a time!

once it gets leafs, spray with round up and let it die. mow it down and keep ot mowed.

  8. I would sit out there pretending I live in the woods like a wizard. Might even plant more to thicken it up.

That’s an insane amount of near unmanageable suckers

Looks like some relatively easy yard work. Few hours max.

Easiest thing would be to rent or barrow a bush hog. If it’ll come down with a weed Wacker even better. Get down to the ground and wait for spring. Rent or borrow a rototiller, till the top couple inches ( I’d say 2 would be sufficient since it’s probably not compacted if you haven’t been using it. Then lay some seed. Let it do it’s thing and seed again in the fall.

I bet those would pull easily enough now. Break em and stuff them in the trash bin each week. Then throw some gypsum and fertilizer down. Rough rake it. Good grass seed in the spring. Water it.

Get a bushmaster in about 500 gallons of diesel

    Hire a landscaper.
Or try uprooting a lot of little trees.

    Just give up.
You obviously don’t care enough, it got like that, why start now?

Same way you eat the elephant. One weed at a time a couple hours each day til clear or one section at a time weeding and weed planting each year.
