Basically there has been no growth since 7 months. It's in the same condition as it was when I got it from a local market. Decided to til the soil and repot it but found these chunks of clay(?). What do i do with it? It's brick hard.
It's not breaking down either. Shall I let it dry and repot with it again? My growth has been stagnant.

  1. Soil looks awful. Can you not source anything better?

Yikes! The pot looks too big for the plant & the soil looks terrible. Looks like there might be roots starting to rot down in there. If so. A smaller pot & better draining soil can help as long as you don’t leave the pot sitting in a saucer of water for extended periods. Also, if it’s winter where you are, I wouldn’t expect much new growth until spring, unless it’s under grow lights & kept nice & warm. If it’s cooler & getting less hours of light, they tend to rest & need watering less frequently.
