Hi plant doctors!
I don’t have so much idea about plant, but until now my plants were doing pretty well… however after we moved to a new house (within the same village, no same climate, temp, humidity, etc…) my plants started to die.
We live in Hong Kong, where temperature is usually hot, even in winter the coldest it gets it’s around 10C Celsius.
We water the plants 3 days a week.. and they barely get any direct sunlight.
What is going on? I’m pretty sad, coz I’ve been taking care of these plants since I moved into my first house with my wife 😭

That’s too much water, these all like to basically be ignored… especially the pothos and zz, water those when the soil is dry. The aglaonema, you could do once every couple of weeks.
3 times a week seems like excessive watering for houseplants unless you have a very chunky soil mix. I suspect root rot. The soil should be mostly dry before you water again. Try sticking a finger in there before you water. If it’s wet, don’t water!! Check out the root systems on your plants. Trim away anything discolored or mushy and repot into a container that’s slightly larger than the root system. Give it a decent watering and then LEAVE IT ALONE until it dries out again.
Also (now this is just in my personal experience) a lot of houseplants that say they need indirect light can usually take a lot more light than you think, and will benefit from the extra exposure. Try moving them closer to a window.
Too much water for ZZ. Not sure what the sunlight is like this time of year for the pothos but I’m assuming over watering there too
Far too much water and not enough light.
I agree, watering 3 times a week is excessive even if it’s hot. If you can, purchase a water meter, it lets you know when it’s time to water.
Pothos looks relatively healthy. With your watering frequency, that indicates it is root bound. May need to add some soil and then decrease the watering frequency.
Make sure your pots have drainage.
Don’t use a schedule to water. Use the weight of the pot, and feel of the soil and leaves.
3 days a week?!!!
I’m piling on here. Way too much water, and not enough light. The amount of light you are able to provide the plant indoors is unlikely to be too much. There are some plants that may need to be pulled back a little bit, but most plants are going to be happy if they’re getting a good deal of sunlight.
Keep experimenting, this is the only way you can figure out what your plants like.
Watering far too frequently. I drown mine once a month and ignore it the rest of the time. It grows like a champ.
Mine too . Hey TEMU has tons of cheap grow lights in all configurations. I’m thinking bout getting some. Also a humidifier near the plants makes a world of difference. They hate this inside dry heat
