My golden pothos that is growing out of my betta tank- it has beautiful leaves with cool variegation within the tank but the leaves that have to began to trail out look deformed and have small holes. Is this a pest issue? Should I reroute the trailing vine so it stays inside the tank?

To me the deformations and holes look like damage that happened while the leaf still developed and unfurled. The deformation is likely caused by the tip breaking in that stage and the holes are caused by a scratch.
That can happen physically, when you or a pet brush the plant while passing by, or your humidity might be low and therefore the new leaves struggle to unfurl.
bugs chew holes.
i get them when i chop and prop sometimes
I’m guessing it’s mechanical damage caused by the change in humidity once they grew out of the tank.
Mechanical damage that typically happens when the leaves are new and unfurling since they’re at their most fragile. Or sometimes they just grow like that. It’s not pest related though
HOW HOW HOW DO U HAVE IT GROW SO WELL
