Backyard has been trashed for years. Front yard was not as bad. But just neglected it until I figured out something. Few months ago decided to do something. Started with backyard iirc circa Halloween. Laid some big brand 29-0-4 according to directions. Followed up again near Christmas with another round. Its growing and green but according to google images, I have Musk Storks bill, soursop, curly dock, dandelion, white clover, poa annua, and kikuyu all growing. More clay soil makeup. I looked into a test but wow $285/sample. I'll pass for now if I can. Was watering 2-3x a week, have cut back to 1x a week, this week. Cutting 2x a week now just last two weeks at about 3-4 inches. Nights have been 45-55° range last couple of days. I'm seeing some yellow tips. We have not had rain I can remember, lol. Beginning of the year, I spread the remaining amount on the front and began same watering schedule but have yet to cut as it was pretty bare. It is turning green but front is full of prickly lettuce, common sowthistle, and dallis grass. I use the backyard like a family would lounging, playing, kick a ball, hitting a golf ball(foam). The front, I want the best lawn on the block, idc what it takes (50:50 joking:not joking) If thats Kikuyu that we have been enjoying I'd like to keep that going. It seems to grow full, nice color, feels good barefoot but idk. I will need to level as well but I'm waiting till spring/summer. I would like to get it growing well and eliminate weeds. Please help with recommendations. Last 3 images are condition of front. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
