  1. Great winter watering. Great seed starting. Thanks again for sharing this with us.๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

  2. I use the epic gardening cells (all sizes & individual humidity domes) to grow my seeds, and the extra strength 1020 trays from boostrap farmers (great for bottom watering and plants can be taken outdoors to harden off easily).

QUESTION: Do you plan on making your own paper cells to sell in your shop?

  3. Hi Laura…you are a true inspiration to me and make my day with your videos… question for you…when using the paper pots..once they germinate, can you or do you use a garden hose to water them…or do you have to use a water mister over the paper pots until planting? Thank you for the inspiration…

  4. Like you I was bummed when it wasnโ€™t possible to re-order the paper pots. Well done Ken for locating them and the base. I found boot trays are great underneath them. So happy to be able to order them from Garden Answer

  5. 16:29 when I use the plastic for sale containers I use an old kitchen fork to pull them out of their container works marvelously. Slide it along the side tip it back and pull it out. Clean release every time. โค

  6. Just ordered the seed starting bundleโค I already had the mister in my basket so I was really excited to see that it was in the bu dle along with so many other goodies!!

  7. Because Iโ€™m in Southern California, Iโ€™ve had to water more often than I would normally in winter. The humidity is very low and the wind is so active. I find everything covered with dust and ash from the fires. I feel lucky Iโ€™m fifty miles away from the fires but I feel horrible for the people who lost everything.

  8. Thanks for all the info. Are most things that are in the ground fine in the winter? Do you start water.once the.ground thaws?
I do sow poppies and larkspur in flower beds, they tend to migrate to the edges, but do come up just sowing on the snow. I have considered trying to sow in some kind of ring to hold them in place.

  9. I so enjoy your energy and how diligent you are with everything. Such a great inspiration to all of us. You give me a reason to keep going g. Blessings to you and your family!!!

  10. Hey Laura, could you line the trays with holes with waxed paper to help hold in soil and water? Just a thought. Love your knowledge and willingness to share with us all. Thank you!

  11. Iโ€™m excited to see bulbs popping out this early. Living in Winnipeg zone 3, our ground has been covered in snow since November. No green at all!!! ๐Ÿ˜ข

  12. We have the rechargeable hand warmers too. They are wonderful to keep in your pockets and no more cold hands!!! Got ours at Wally World Love them!!! We live in Indiana and it gets coooold here

  13. I donโ€™t remember if you have that soil tray that you mixed up the soil in your shop. Do you have the link if you donโ€™t have it in your shop? Thank you for all your information. I am learning so much.

  14. Great reminder to winter water! What ever happened to the pear that was originally behind the barn that was oved to the south garden? Is it still in its
    planter box?

  15. So much fun to watch the chickens follow you around in those paper roll pots are so clever! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’œ Liz

  16. -23โฐ feels like temperature this morning in mid michigan, I'll look out the window at my plants & wish them the best ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜…

  17. Laura, last year, I created 2 new large foundation beds. I grew Dusty Miller from seed for my front boarder, but this year, I want to replace them it with a perennial. What would you suggest for an easy to grow, similar looking plant? I've considered Cerastium tomentosum (Snow-in-Summer), but have never grown this or even seen this plant. Any thoughts or recommendations? I'm in zone 6B Kansas. PS, love the channel! Say hello to Benjamin and Samantha for me. โค

  18. I'm curious, do the paper pots dry out more quickly from the sides? I'll wait to order some until we see how easy they are to pull apart from each other and plant outside!

  19. I love all the ornamental cabbage/Kale The deep rich pops of purple color looks so pretty in the winter garden!! ๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’œ Liz from California

  20. Love your channel! Starting Lisianthus for the first time! With Lisianthus on the seed packet it is suggested to use root shield when planting out, have you ever used that? If you havenโ€™t, have you experience a lot of fusarium wilt?
