First time lawn owner – dead spots


I’m a first time home owner and our grass was green and beautiful when we purchased the house in April of 2024. I’ve maintained the same watering schedule as previous owner and have used weed and feed but now I have green algae and dead spots in the grass. What should I do to take care of this? In San Diego, California
