I was a little dismayed in December when I found a tuft of fur attached to my much shorter buttonbush Cephalanthus occidentalis.

My wife wisely recommended that we try rooting the cutting. A few weeks later and voilà! Two roots with a third on the way.

I broke some stems of my ninebark and was surprised how easy it was to clone them.

My wooly pipevine I can’t get to root no mater how hard I try. Rooting hormones, heat mat, humidity doming. Meanwhile I’m reading posts about just sticking them in water on a windowsill working great.
