Thank you for posting to r/plantclinic!

It looks like you may be asking about a cactus or succulent. In addition to any advice you receive here, please consider visiting r/cactus r/succulents for more specialized care advice.

A common problem with cacti and succulents is etiolation. This is when a succulent stretches or becomes leggy. Reply with “!etiolation” for advice.

You don’t need a plant clinic. You need a plant necromancer.

You can’t make miracles unfortunately 😭 next time search on Google the name of the species and you will find some info about the right way to care for the plant.

I’m sorry for your loss 🙏

But your artwork is top notch 🤌

Dead looks like it was a succulent that rotted because of overwatering.

For future reference water them only when you see wrinkles on their leaves or the leaves are droopy. You can water by taking it out of the decorative pot without drainage and putting it into a bowl of water(or even a plate), letting the dirt suck the water into the soil for an hour. Then let the excess water drain out before putting it back.

Make sure its in the brightest place in your home to allow it to grow in a healthy way and it also helps it use up the water quicker and helps the water evaporate from the soil.

Just do a big chop and give it time and it will most likely just grow back. I did that to three plants that lost all their leaves and all of them have a brand new leaf growing better then they did before. Sometimes a chop will do just fine.

All you can do now is pray for the departed soul.

you can either chop the dead off and water weekly, see if it grows back or get a new one

    Here’s the way-
Go to a store and find another one.

Cut off the dead parts n bottom water. It’s likely resurrection wont happen at this point but worth a try I guess

Poor little plant…when you have a plant, much like a pet, when you leave for an extended time period, you make arrangements to have it fed…for pets it’s pet food and water unless they are fish then just food, and for plants, it’s a little sunlight and water. RIP little feller.

‘E’s not pinin’! ‘E’s passed on! This plant is no more! He has ceased to be! ‘E’s expired and gone to meet ‘is maker! ‘E’s a stiff! Bereft of life, ‘e rests in peace! If you hadn’t nailed ‘im to the pot ‘e’d be pushing up the daisies! ‘Is metabolic processes are now ‘istory! ‘E’s off the twig! ‘E’s kicked the bucket, ‘e’s shuffled off ‘is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin’ choir invisible!! THIS IS AN EX-PLANT!!

Your only shot is to soak that pot up with water. If there’s any life left, you’ll see it sprout back a little somewhere towards the dirt, but everything I see here is super dead.
