Habe been watering not much and now since its beginning to getting colder just the side not facing the window died, so I turned it.
Next step would be using the bigger pot.
Any advice?
I got an olive tree over the summer and I’m also in the middle of winter. Olive trees need a lot of light and a lot of water. The instructions with mine were to keep it in full, direct sunlight and water when the top inch of soil was dry. So far so good for me. But it’s hard to say what’s the issue for yours without much information.

Olive trees can winter so maybe it feels like it’s preparing for winter. The best read I get from mine is the leaves. They tend to change their shape when they are over Vs underwatered. So maybe pay close attention to those over the next couple watering cycles to see if stuff changes when the soil is wet Vs when it’s dry.

You may want to get a grow light for the winter months if you don’t want it to shed any leaves

I noticed a couple things in its environment. The heating vent could be drying it out so that it needs more water in winter than you’re accustomed to. Get a water meter ($12 on Amazon- not the three way kind of- just water) and check to make sure the root ball stays moist. Also there should be air flow around your pot. So pull the extra pots out and set it on a plant saucer (they are designed for air flow) inside one decorative pot. Their care is similar to Fiddle Leaf Fig. Hilton Carter has a nice video on Fiddle Leaf Fig care on YT. The pour over watering method is great! Don’t repot now. Wait til spring. Do a Superthrive drench and water with Superthrive til spring. You can try pruning back just an inch or so to shape it up which will force new growth. You can prune more aggressively in spring. If you show me the soil I can help you troubleshoot. Also check for spider mites.
