Give it a lot of light and saturate the soil only when the leaves feel less firm. It can stay in the same pot for a long time. Give it dilute succulent fertilizer once a month or so during spring and summer.

Get a grow light for it. Watch the difference.

I’d recommend pruning it looks to be doing quite well but if you want faster and bushier growth pruning will get you there

It’s already doing really well. They can usually handle more light tho if you want even more growth.

Pruning, it’s doing amazing!

Give this plant a lot of light, it thrives off of neglect, and let it absolutely dry out for a while then only water enough to get the soil damp throughout. Do not over saturate it or let it sit in wet soil.
Make sure the soil has very good drainage, and that the pot has drainage holes in the bottom
Every so often dust off the leaves when you see they are dusty.

Give that jade plant nothing. Absolutely forget about the damn thing. Stick it in a bright window. Leave it. Only water when the leaves are soft, they will be very firm otherwise. They will die from over watering easily ! So forget about it:)

Definitely got yourself a beautiful jade! I have probably 10-15 of them, including a very large, 100+ year old one.
It’s a succulent so they don’t like to be overwatered, I water mine probably twice a month even in the small pots indoors. More often if they’re outside and it’s warm. However, when you do water you want to water very thoroughly and let it drain well. Light requirements vary a lot, they can put up with direct sun all the way down to indirect light inside, but right in the middle seems to make mine happiest – periods of direct sun per day and lots of indirect light as the sun passes. Finally, contrary to popular belief jades love the COLD. They love a good temperature drop, especially in winter, and will flower when it’s cold. My jades are happiest in the late fall and early spring.
Hope this helps!

And the Lord said, GIVE IT SUNLIGHT.. or something like that. The plant can do the rest without much interference.
Rooting forms a sponge-like mesh, which mustn’t be overwatered. It can absorb water from a light weekly spray, and can be fed by that method in the spring and summer. A frost warning, don’t leave it outside in northern winter climates.

Money trees grow on pure savings. You can’t spend too much money or you will cripple it

It is very difficult to kill them from under watering. Sometimes I wait until the leaves deflate and get wrinkly, especially during winter. I made the mistake of over fertilizing mine last year. It caused the branches to grow so fast that they drooped and grew downwards. I snapped them all off and started over. Haven’t fertilized since and it’s growing upright and healthier than ever.

Your jade plant looks happy. Try pruning it (cutting off branches) to get the shape you like.
Look up jade plant pruning for specifics of where on the branch to cut and letting the cutting scab before trying to repot.
Personally, I would cut off the branches hanging over on the right side. And then of the branches that are sticking up, I’d prune off maybe the top 2/3rds off. Every place you cut will create two branches. So in this way the plant starts creating more branches – looking fuller/more bushy as well as taller.

Step 1: realize it’s not a money plant.
