I just left my English Ivy topiary outside in a pot, will see what happens this spring, but they are hearty down to Z4 and I am in Z8. Beautiful and motivating clean out!

Hartley looks great!!!! It seems as if you are just about busting out the seems with plants. What will you do when u run out of space? I've had to quit buying because I don't have places to put things…lol…I guess it's a good problem to have 😊 ❤❤

The names they come up for some of these plants just kills me! Rat tail, rickrack and best of all – bad hair day!
Definitely needs an attitude adjustment 😂 do you have anything special to collect dirt/terra cotta particles in the drain? I created a planting room but I’m so afraid of clogging up the pipes as I’m not very handy and wouldn’t know how to fix it!!

I recommend putting in Hartley Koppert's Special Ulti Mite. It will eat spider mites. I have fought it for four years, and only natural predators kill it. Koppert works great in closed rooms.

Question about the myrtle topiary's shedding… I purchased one bc i love topiaries. It bloomed little white blooms, then started shedding. I thought it was getting too much light. I read they didn't want direct sun, so moved it. But yours obviously gets direct sun. Can you give us some detailed info on them so i don't panic and think I'm killing it?

Oh dear, yep, spider mites love ivy. I can no longer buy this house plant due to that. It seemed to happen to me every time. 🙁
I LOVE bleach smell too. I think it's nostalgic for me because of swim lessons and being on swim team using indoor pools lol😊🤷🏽♀️
Now Ivy is a huge NO for me, especially inside but outside too. I won't even buy plants that have been displayed next to an Ivy lol. I found a replacement for them though. Very similar look but it's a succlent. Wax Ivy is the common name. 💚✌🏽

I would LOVE to have a greenhouse space like yours to piddle with house plants all winter!! The Hartley looks fabulous!
Make sure you use a wood oil cleaner ,lie Old English on your wood table . It looks really dry and the oil will protect the wood.

Hey Laura, you stripped all the leaves off the ivy plant. I remember when I was growing poinsettia in one of our wholesale greenhouses, I stripped all the leaves off of them because I wanted to get rid of mealybugs. It just sit there. I forgot about photosynthesis!!😮

🌱Weird, but I love seeing you tackle those plants and clean up that space. I wish and hope you dedicate a video to refinish that antique table. It is so beautiful and worthy of a do over. And, when finished, top it with either fiberglass or glass to protect it from the dirt & water stains. Thanks for your dedication to this channel.🌱

English ivy does not come in my house or green house. No way. It always gets spider mites. It lives outside only.

Has there been any threat of the fires reaching Oregon? I remember last year the areas very close to you were buring down. I tend to worry that one day your channel will go cold due to the natural disasters happening all over the country. We have this massive uncommon cold front about to move over us and I fear I may lose my daily visits with you and your family & team. I've been watching faithfully since you've moved to the "big house" . When I see so many of our fellow neighboring states being nearly wiped out, I always think, "what if we were ever to lose garden answer?" I don't think I could settle for any substitute. I've watched you guys grow and grow and grow. Enough to see Aaron go from a humble young fortune seeker to the snob he is today, lol. I feel like you're my own family now. I pray all is well with yun Yankees.
