Hi Robbie watch every video and much like yourself I am nomally a slient watcher. However I had a question after today seedling video. I do live in the UK and I know many of our plant varietals are differnt to the USA but most of our biennial and some perennial foxgloves only flower the year after planting. I found this out the hardway as year one I had wonderfuly healthy plants but no blooms. Assuming this isn't the case with you which varieties are you using or would recommend ? Many Thanks Caroline

Man I wish I could get happy frog at $13.00 I pay $25 a bag plus $17 for the Land and Sea compost…😮😢 I travel 45min to pick up these bags. If I get this soil from Ace Warehouse which is around the block from me but I would have to pay $40.00 a bag..no thank you..😊
And we are also among the ones having to pay $23-$26/large bag for Happy Frog! 😭 but worth it compared to our other sad choices. We have the rare PW plants in our area… unless I drive 1 hour away… and even then it is very limited. We do get some Monrovia, which I also love. We’re in the Florida panhandle- Zone 8B. Love starting my morning with a cup of coffee and visiting your garden. 😁
Ok have the same problem with baby plants! I take mine to my neighbor that also starts plant by seed.
Hello Robbie and Brent. I always enjoy these type of videos, they are so relaxing. Like you, it hurts me to discard extra seedlings. Unless they are tiny and in not good condition I keep them, I can always stick them somewhere in the garden or in containers. The poor things are alive and trying their best 🌱😅

Where did you get your seed starting trays? I also love the colorful tray you use but I forgot the name that you said they were in another video you did. I’m thinking of starting foxglove, echinacea and poppies this year. Thanks for sharing this with us.

We love Maine. Also our favorite time to go. Is July or August. When you can take a boat out and see the humpback whales, it is so much fun, love it.

Hi Robbie, thank you for this video. Question, have you ever grown verbena bonariensis from seed in trays? I don’t think mine are going to germinate and I’m wondering if there is a trick, I read something about the seeds don’t like it too wet. My trays with domes are quite moist but I don’t know if that is the issue. Thanks!
It’s like the seedling hunger games 😂. You can get EB stone seedling mix at Green acres in a big bag for 12 bucks.
I love dusty millers too! I’m in zone 7a SLC and they also will overwinter for me and I cut them back every late winter. I plant new every other year because they get looking pretty haggard. Could you show us what yours look like that have over wintered?

Not sure why you're discarding the baby seedlings. Couldn't they also be potted in? Laura from Garden Answer didn't discard any of hers in a recent video I watched.

I checked out her website and may be ordering some of the slate tags later on after I figure out what plant/plants I'd want to put them in. I don't have roses, so I need to put some thought into it. In your climate can’t you just put the snaps and foxgloves straight into the garden? They are very hardy.
