Got it Friday after a three day transit. Think it may have frozen in transit. Golden gate ficus. I’ve watered it and am hoping for the best. Some leaves definitely seem alive, others are crunchy.

Is this caused by freezing temperatures? If so, it depends on how cold it got (whats its zone rating?) and whether the roots are still viable.

to see how dead it is you could pull the plant lightly from the vase, if it comes up easily the roots are dead and the plant is gone, you could also check how alive are the branches, if they snap or if they’re elastic or floppy, if some leaves are good try removing all the dead ones and see what remains? but this is in general i don’t know bonsais
