The leaves feel limp and they used to be hard. It’s looking very sad 🙁
I’ve obviously put it by the window near sunlight to help revive it but it is still winter so don’t get a lot of sun In the U.K.
I added a healthy dose of plant food and water. Any further tips? Thanks!

Was it hot or cold in the car?
Sugar water
Unfortunately it looks like this guy’s a goner, I doubt it will recover.
If the roots didn’t freeze there’s a tiny chance. But those leaves are dead.
The cold has killed it unfortunately.
Those leaves won’t recover but you may see new growth from the stem. The rules are pretty much the same for all kinds of plant stress:
– Don’t give fertilizer to a stressed plant, you’ll only stress it more. If the plant is not actively growing, it doesn’t need fertilizer and it will just accumulate in the soil and burn the roots.
– Keep it in a warm place with bright indirect light.
– Water only when the soil is dry. A plant with no leaves don’t lose as much water by evaporation as a healthy, leafy plant. Overwatering could kill the roots.
– Wait. If the plant can recover, it will mostly on it’s own.
– When you see new growth you can return the plant to a more sunny place and gradually resume your usual fertilizer and watering routines.
It froze. Ice crystals are sharp. When they form inside of cells, the cell walls are sliced and lose structural integrity. You froze the plant.
I’m always hopeful so don’t give up yet.
That said, stop taking your houseplants to parties! They can’t hold their liquor 😊
The leaves are done, but maybe the root hasn’t frozen.
