  1. If distilled or rain water are not feasible, adding aquarium conditioner to the water from your faucet is the next best option. I use "API Stress Coat +" in every watering can. Leaving tap water to sit overnight does not work. Most municipalities have changed from chlorine to chloramine, and the latter does not evaporate. Moreover, there are other minerals and additives that remain even after filtering the water and letting it sit overnight. The water conditioner neutralizes them well enough to make the plants not get those burnt tips.

  3. I've had to throw alot of my plants in the bin all died and not growing. It's freezing cold here too and can't afford to have the heat on. Any suggestions

  4. hi Ashley, Many thanks for this fun video. I love Spider plants! I don’t currently own one but way back in the day I had several. Such pretty plants and reasonably easy to care for. A win/win in the plant world! Take care! 👌🪴🥰

  5. Man I have this kind of plant sense haha. Literally just repotted a few small ones from my folks back yard. They have a lot of it growing so I have plenty to propagate. That and you just uploaded this video. Really informative! ✌😄 🪴

  6. "girl you got a lot of hair" cracked me up 😂😂😂

I propagated 2 spider plant babies from my grandpa's plants about 6 months ago and one has already made little babies. Can't wait to share her with friends and family ❤️

  7. I've had my spider plant for coming to 4 years now but there have been no babies to date. It has near doubled in size during the time but where there are more leaves I see no babies. Any ideas or suggestions? It's in indirect sunlight, appropriate sized pot, watered well enough to it's needs. 😊

  8. Ashley, what about misting? Do they like a little misting? I live in central Florida and she is out on my front porch….bright not in direct sun.

  9. The auto-generated subtitles thought you said "spider rats" instead of "spiderettes". I'm calling them that from now on. Great video!
