Rooted a couple of different plants found out and about in the Klein Karoo, all indigenous to Southern Africa. Also got some purchased seed into soil, Maerua racemulosa is a large shade tolerant shrub with very pretty flowers.

  1. Kedrostis africana – What I initially thought was a Pelargonium, it's actually a member of the gourd family (Cucurbitaceae). Nice creeper.

  2. Crassula atropurpurea – cute little thing.

  3. Crassula subaphylla var subaphylla – I found it growing in between other low groundcovers, blood red in colour (it's summer here currently, and it was growing in full sun), and I quite liked the splash of red. Last pic shows what I mean.

All rooted quite easily. Took stem cuttings and rooted them in water.
