Located indoors in cold ass Chicago, about 3 ft from the window. Away from vents. It's about 4 years of age, and sitting in a 14" planter. It's winter, so I have been letting it completely dry out before watering. What could be the issue?

It looks like sunburn, but it could also be mineral buildup from your water. Does it receive much direct sunlight?
