  1. Love your videos such an inspiration !
Looking forward to winter sowing as in Canada thats all I can look forward to this time of year!

    Seeds soon

  2. I saw a gardener on YouTube who puts incandescent Christmas lights on his fruit trees that are borderline in his growing zone. Would that help you to guard against frost after budding?

  3. You commented on how much you love that big maple near the house so why don’t you plant another one the same to replace the tree that was taken out.

  4. Will you be drilling drain holes in the fountain bowls so you don’t have to run cords to it for the heating pads during next winter? Or is there a reason for no drain holes? I would think they would have them when not in use and when in use you have a plug in them.

  5. Don't move the sidewalk at the front of the house. That entry point continues to bother you, fix the house first. Your Mom's contractor will do!

  6. Yews might want a bit more shade. They like shade anyways, but as toy live in a dessert that’s especially important

  7. So fun to hear your thoughts. What works, what doesn’t and plans for the future. What I’m most excited about is planting up the front garden where the fountain is. I love watching your vision become reality! Your videos have helped teach me even more patience!

  8. Laura,Every looks so good and healthy, the evergreens are so lush green and beautiful. As always thank you for sharing this with us. Pumpkins sounds wonderful.
We have a few days in the fifties, 51 and 56. Then it bottoms out. 3 days below freezing then it starts warm back up. We had a snow storm last Thursday. Got 7 to 8 inches of snow. It's been melting off for 2 days now. It's going to take a little time. Great video
Congratulations on getting 1st place in the dealy that Hooked and Rooted, Steph did. You sure did deserved it. ❤

  9. Laura, I’ve seen your previous highlight question and answer videos about dealing with gnats during seed starting. I took a suggestion and it has eradicated all my pest problems – I pour boiling water into my seed starting mix, just enough to start seeds with. I let it cool and then continue the process as normal. This has really helped and the best part is that it’s free. You don’t lose anything by trying. Good luck to you and can’t wait to see what you do in the garden this year!
