I direct a pollinator pathway in my town and I am partnering with the PTA to offer winter sowing kits for families. I am trying to make it as simple as possible and wondered if anyone on this sub has ever seen fun kids instructions for growing natives. Or other sources that might be relevant 🙂

There are a few groups that do this near me and one of the kid friendly activities is making seed balls. They basically just roll little mud balls with native seeds and then spread them. The trick with these events is to make sure you’re using seeds that are actually native to your area. Far too often people will use seeds from a packet that includes non natives – that’s worrisome to me.
