It needs a lot more light. Wait for the soil to be completely dry to water it well. Don’t water on a schedule.

It’s etiolated and needs waaaaay more light. Water once a week is also too much, better cut down to once two weeks at most.

Too much water for a cactus love they don’t mind a drought 2 1/2 weeks is good even longer if it’s not getting a lot of light

After you water let the soil dry out completely and wait a couple of weeks before you water again
