Hello, im a teenage girl with no knowledge of plants, so I also dont have any stuff that u guys might recommend to use :(!!
but please, do help me out here a lil! I cut off some mushy roots awhile ago and yes i cleaned the jar, rocks and gave it new water. It has dead lil stems that i think couldve been new plants, im not sure why.
It gets indirect sunlight from my window every morning too.
please let me know what i can do, or capable of doing!

This pothos is very easy to care for. Needs medium to minimal indirect light and will root in water. Once enough roots have developed put it in dirt.
That looks like a queen marble Pothos! They are beautiful and in my experiance pretty hardy! It will continue to grow in the water as long as you change it regularly and put a few drops of fertilizer in about once a month. If you want to put it in soil you need a pot that’s about one third bigger than the root ball on your plant and fairly quick draining soil mix. A tropical plant mix will probably do in a pinch! Don’t forget the pot you choose needs good drainage at the bottom! For best results water your plant when the soil is completely dry by filling the bottom 3 inches or so of your sink with water and a setting your pot in the water for about an hour. fertilize once a month and keep it somewhere with as much light as possible!
Enjoy!!
It looks fine to me, and it will stay that way for quite a while. I would remove the rocks, they’re not adding anything other than aesthetics.
