Oh, I am so with you, Laura. I try to keep every seed I can.
I did love watching you transplanting your seedlings 🌱 I have had problems with them. So any advice is a welcome gift.
It's just so exciting to see little seedlings popping through the compost.
Thank you, Lovely Laura, for all you do for us x
Russell just sits back and watches you intently. He loves you!
I may plant some geranium seeds in a couple of weeks. How long from seed planting to bloom on the ones you've planted?
Where do you purchase the geranium seeds?
You are very diligent in taking care of and growing beautiful colorful flowers. I wish you health, peace and success.
Makes me wish I had a heated space to start a growing session of my own.😊
Winter wonderland! 🥶
💚
Good morning from Delaware Garden Answer friends.
Afternoon Everyone 🥰
I love the snow ❄️
I noticed the cat carrier in the background and then you mentioned about Russell feeling better. I missed something apparently what was wrong with him.
Thank you! So fun and inspiring—got a small greenhouse I play with😅
While watching today’s video I started thinking about the things I have learned from watching your videos. While none of what I am listing is earth shattering all of these ideas have made such a big difference in my gardening experience.
The most helpful item was learning about the Power Planter Auger! It truly has been a game changer. I started with the five-inch auger. Then I learned about Gardening With Creekside thru your video when they came to help you (I am only a little over an hour from the Creekside Nursery). I did a demo at Creekside and moved up to the taller nine-inch auger.
Felco forever! I have spent so much money buying junk pruners from the big box stores (the last one broke the first time I used it). I realized that the cost of the Felco was cheaper in the long run. I gave my son (a budding new gardener) a Felco Pruner along with the Care Kit for Christmas.
That little green planting tray has been so nice. I do most of my potting in my kitchen and this tray has been so helpful in keeping the soil where it belongs. Also, the trick of wetting down the soil before putting it in the trays has been really helpful.
And lastly, so many of the sites tell you to clip off the extra plants in each cell to allow one main one to grow. I like watching her separate the plants and move them to individual cells. Even if they all do not make it you are still ahead for any of them that do live.
All in all, besides learning about new plants (I discovered, Gaura; Lemon Coral Sedum; Desert Orchid; and so many other new plants) from watching her daily video, it is just a fun way to start the day.
hope u enjoy eatimg the the artichokes….
I'm in Ohio and we don't have snow. We get flurries but just cold. It's 29* here this morning
Laura loves playing in dirt. Glad Russell is feeling better.
Laura you look so cute in that style hat or is that your hood either way it looks cute.
Show us pics of the sledding
It’s starting😁 Wondering if you wash you pots with anything, bleach, etc? Or do you use new pots?
You mentioned Russell was feeling better. Do you mind to share what was wrong? I have always loved Russell! He is so very sweet and such a beautiful cat.
Was Russell sick? 😢
Enjoyed the video. ❤
My columbine seedlings are the same size! I can’t wait to compare progress 😂
It's always a delight to start my day watching your videos! You have so much knowledge to share 😊. Have you ever started wire vine from seed? I started using this plant in my flower pots since you introduced me to them and just think they are lovely and add such a touch of whimsey! Thank you!
So glad that Russel is feeling better so nice to start seeds this time in the year..
Such a fun process to watch. Question….I have noticed in past videos that you brush the tops of the seedlings with your hand. Does this benefit the strength of the seedling stems or do you just like the feel of them?
Hi Laura and Team Happy New Year!! Love your videos always. They keep be going through out the year especially the cold winter months.
Question if geranium flower at 12-16 week why do you start the seeds so early? Are they usually slow growers in your area? Just wondering if l should be starting mines the same time you start yours.
I can’t find geraniums on Johnny’s? Any suggestions?
PLEASE get Russell and Douglas a warm fuzzy blanket or fuzzy igloo bed for the greenhouse. I know it is warmed but kitties love to snuggle in warm covers. Also. update on Cheddar, please. Miss him. ♥️♥️♥️
I direct seeded 50 pink petticoat columbine seeds in the ground last spring but none came up. Not sure why.
thank you all for another great video!
One of my favorite things about you Laura is how your not afraid to do little “experiments” because I think it takes away peoples fear of making mistakes when gardening and encourages us to think more creatively about different options for things. I really appreciate that about you.
