Oh this brings back memories of my husband and I when he was able to help me do things. I remember getting rocks and building our pond. Oh how I miss those times. I wish he could get well enough to walk and help me finish what we started we are in our early 60's so we still have time.

Wonderful thinking!!!…I have a similar area with a little more of a slope in front of the house…I was thinking of doing the same with the rock garden…you motivated me by making it look so easy!!!..I got as far as collecting a rock pile & stopped..I did not know how to start or go about the hard rocky ground! I grew up on a horse farm. My dad REFUSED to have ANY white painted fences (that look good for about a nanosecond!) I remember helping to STAIN our wood fences dark brown. We didn't have to redo them for years! I love the look of white picket fences but not the reality! 😊

I love the rock design and flow, which becomes impactful at entry. It would be amazing to not just pepper but almost fill your rock garden with lots of plants and they will make the difference between cool and amazing.

In the spring, look for the ice plant for in your rock garden. It's available in a variety of colors. I can see you adding more plants over time too! You are quite the creative gardener!!

How ddo you keep the weeds under control. As big as your yard is that would be a full time job. And unless you stay up all night, you dont have time with everything else you do, you both work so hard i love the video went you take time to spend some much needed time for yourselves. I am a bit older than you but i do enjoy spending time in my yard. Wonderful video and great people. God bless

Oh dear the fence posts need to bee off the ground a bit Otherwise you will have rot and thats alot of salts to replace as u describe from so much snow there having lived in snowy climate rain and freeze . Great environmental water source and cooling àrea to sit swing , read do homwork etc play with baby while cool naturallly
