I’m happy with the results so far. I wanted to get the seed down a few weeks earlier and it took longer to germinate than I anticipated but I think it’s going to be great come spring.
I’m also testing out ethofumesate which I did at seeding and again 3 weeks later.

Looks fantastic! But I assume this is temporary and you’re gonna overseed with Bermuda or go with sod (Bermuda or zoysia) come late spring? That fescue will absolutely die in a DFW summer. It can barely handle 90F, let alone 100’s for months…
