I should add, it’s not mine – I saw it while on a walk. it looks like it’s infected by something

It’s a female *Cycas revoluta*/sago palm with cone and seeds.

  4. So I was so confused and shocked when I first saw this because WTH😖 my brain literally could not comprehend, but based on a quick google search, it appears to be a sago palm flower. This sago palm flowered and reproduced, the orange balls are the seed pods (nuts), apparently they’re super poisonous to pets. Super creepy and cool looking

Sago palm, its starting to bloom, but the **cone is not elongating**.
There is **scorch** on the cone, the main rib **stems of the fronds are yellow** not green & there is yellowing on the tips of leaves.
Sago palm needs **Sulfur** proteins to make **Auxin** hormone & pigments.
This is a mild **Sulfur** deficiency.
