G’day folks, welcome back to another yard disaster makeover. Now you’re maybe thinking that this place doesn’t look too bad, but let me tell you the garden beds are severely neglected and super complicated. A facebook viewer contacted me and asked if I could help her tenant go over the garden beds as they were finding it difficult to maintain. When I got there, I could see why! All up, we spent around 8 hours on this job, including 2 trips to the landfill.

FAQ’s:

Q: Where are you located?
A: I am from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘.

Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in over 5 years on the job.

Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs.

Q: Why don’t you use tarps instead of bins?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!

Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I would say it’s because Australia had a temperate to tropical climate, and therefore it doesn’t matter that much if they are outdoors. To me, though, it seems a bit inefficient to have them outside in Tasmania with a temperate climate (coldish for 3 – 4 months per year). But that is industry standard down here 🤷‍♂️

Q: What types of ladders do you use?
A: The large one is a Gorilla Adjustable Platform 150kg and the small one is a Gorilla Mighty 19. They are both adjustable.

Q: Who/what is Jim’s Mowing?
A: Jim’s Mowing is a franchise business. The Jim’s Group is the biggest home services franchise in Australia.

Q: Why do you have 2 channels that seem to be the same?
A: Quick Cuts (my original channel) has music in the background. Quick Cuts V2 is for those that like just machine noise, and it doesn’t have music.

  2. You two always do a great job. Steve, I bet you work harder now than you did in the work force!! LOL There is a supplement called AG1 I think you both should try. From what I understand it helps alot with energy and stamina during those grueling garden clean ups. You two have a restful break and we'll see you on the next one. 😄

  3. С наступающим Рождеством Джордж 🎅🎉🌲 Пусть все твои мечты сбудутся, здоровья, успехов и новых супер классных проектов!!!! Будь счастлив Джордж 🤗😉. С уважением Елена 🤗🙋

  4. Beautiful property to end this year of incredible transformations!🎉 I love how you handled the bushes, starting to separate them one by one as they should be, and you even found a little forgotten stone wall. Sorry you haven't been feeling well, but don't give up now, the holidays are coming!!! 🤗☀️

  5. Sorry you're having a bad day sir. We all been there. Inspite of your grumpiness you did great with the yard …sir. Never a dull moment watching your yard renovations. You make them look amazing. Again, ggreat job sir.

  6. Does anyone know what the musics called that starts at 13.39, plays through to 19, with a slight interruption from George 😊, I'm trying to find it without success, it's so chillax😊❤❤

  7. That was a lot of hard work well done both of you, the garden looks lovely and the views are gorgeous ❤❤ Pauline. 🇬🇧

  8. Merry Christmas to you,Steve, and your families ! You both make a wonderful team and deserve some rest and relaxation. Enjoy your time off and see you both soon!

  9. You fellows deserve a vacation! Love your hard work. I can’t get over the layers of ground cover you get in Australia-I am in the US-Minnesota. Let me know your temperatures-F +C. Keep the beard-very handsome🤭

  10. Was thoroughly surprised to see the rock wall up the right side being exposed. That place was really a mess until you two got there and began working on it. Can't wait for the next episode on that property. It's coming along nicely, as is usually the case. Keep up the great work.

  11. I was wondering, do you all get poison ivy and/or poison oak in your neck of the woods? And if you do, what preventives do you do to prevent it getting on your skin? I just rented a house that sits on 2 residential lots with chain link fencing all along the perimeter. There is poison ivy/oak through out on the fence. Thanks so much for doing these videos! I really do enjoy them. Lexington, KY.
