  1. Lovd the view from above. We get to see the bones & layout. You have encouraged me to pick up curbside finds. I have a section of picket fence & 8ft section of fencing to repurpose. Happy 2025.

  2. Your videos are always an inspiration, we get a new idea every time we view one. Love the addition of the houses. We’re slowly making our fenced area a small forest with pathways through out it. Our biggest challenge is keeping the Goldens (2) happy, and feral cats out. Please keep sharing your videos so our imagination can grow watching yours. Thank you and Happy New Year!
Congratulations on the new Fur Baby too!

  3. Your garden is such an inspiration to me! I am in the process of creating a Moon Gate because of you. I found an old round bale feeder in the hedge row of our family farm and have dug it out and am going to use that. Probably going to use your idea of using the different sized posts cut up for the edging to the new bed too.

  4. Those fallen leaves also feed the soil and provide shelter for insects over winter. Great to see the bare bones of your garden.

  5. Whimsy/ Whimsical. Whatever you choose to call your garden style is fine by me. Just don't stop sharing it with us. Your garden is awesome and a huge inspiration to many.

  6. Your videos are always awesome Your the closest to me at St Charles Mo I get great insights from your imagination Please don't stop completely Happy New Year!!!

  7. It would be hard to imagine your backyard without all you've done to it. What did it look like before you added everything? Just a lawn? Any existing trees or shrubs?

  8. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this beautiful video. I always enjoy watching you and all the great whimsical ideas you have. I wish you were my neighbor. I love all of the hardscaping. All the houses you have in the back, the cartoon shed, the chicken pen, the hobbit house. They are all incredible. I live in northern Alabama and unfortunately I have full sun gardening, not the shade that I would love. The clay and the high heat in the summer are devastating to many of my plants. The wasps down here are very aggressive. I had no idea I was allergic to wasp stings, but I am. I was not going to let them deter me from gardening, so my husband purchased a full beekeeper suit for me. Every time I go outside in the spring, summer or fall to the garden, I’m covered by a bee suit, head to toe and have not been stung since. I love those gigantic, beautiful flower pots that you have, and the moon gate naturally. If you were going to have a tour at any time, I would be very cautious about the barbed wire fencing near the Hobbit house. You give me so many wonderful ideas. I wish I was 30 years younger and much stronger. ❤ you give me inspiration to add whimsy to my gardens. Thank you again. Love from Harvest AL.

  9. I know you said you don’t like gnome figures but look at Henri studios Ziggy gnome oh my goodness he is spectacular and so detailed ( I have him and his wife Zoe ) they are solid cement and made to look aged

  10. One important thing I learned over my 70 something years, is that I please myself and if people enjoy it GREAT. I am happy. If NOT, well I am not here to please strangers. You just can't please everyone, so I don't try. I am much happier this way! Sometimes we meet people who share the same ideas, those are the people I like to associate with! You sir are one of them. I enjoy nature. Not forcing plants into some unnatural shape. While there may be a place for that in some gardens, It IS NOT IN MY GARDEN! Happy New Year to everyone!

  11. Eeehhhhhh ….. I wouldn't allow that Wisteria to grow through, up and around that chicken coop. I've seen – even young – specimens bend and deform chain link fences with EASE. And when you eventually admit that it was a huge mistake, you'll be cutting (plant and/or wire) for days to get it pristine again.

  12. The gazing balls: you could paint them any color. Also you could use plaster to give them rough texture and paint the gray for rocks.

  13. Stepping stones with river rock might be a good idea for entrance to moon gate. I orginally though of like bridge with trolls 😂 happy early anniversary.wishing you guys many more! Happy New year!

  14. Don't ever hesitate to show a dormant garden landscape. It really shows off all the hard work you put into the hardscape and gives you a chance to share your ideas and vision for future projects. It also inspires us to get into our gardens, even in the winter, and do some brain storming. Thanks again and looking forward to your next project.🤩

  15. Make sure your nest boxes are lower than your roosts. Saw you pointing low, so figure that's the case. A lot of people make the mistake of having them the same level and chickens end up rooting in boxes, which isn't great.

  16. Your garden is like no other. It’s unique and beautiful. Lots of other are nice but more of the same. Not yours.

  17. Your garden is like no other. It’s unique and beautiful. Lots of other are nice but more of the same. Not yours. I’d love to see the garden of the guy who called your HeShed “too cartoonish .”

  18. Happy New Year to you and your family. I have been subscribed to your channel from the very beginning and have seen how you have taken an already beautiful garden into a wonderful whimsical place where you can find so many surprises at every corner. Please keep sharing these videos. Looking forward to all the new projects you have planned for this year. My favorite is the Hobbit home
