What are these weird white blobbish things?! I know the soil is a bit mouldy…. It lives in my bathroom. About 1-2 years old I think?

I’m pretty sure that’s just roots. That’s exactly what spider plants roots look like, white tubers

They’re just roots. Why toss a perfectly happy plant over this wtf

My dude, you can’t trust 89% of what you read on the internet and reddit is notorious for people who just want to comment without having any idea what they’re talking about. If you can still grab it, you should do so and apologize profusely.

Roots. Just remove the leaf under them so they can find soil.

Ack! I love bugs! I keep jumping spiders for pets (have 4 of them), one species of beetles, and even had a couple of verrrrrrrrry long stick bugs. I hope to go all organic with nematodes and isopods soon. But … I can’t do maggots. 🤮🤮🤮

Our spiders eat flies, which comes from 🤮🤮🤮 My husband has to handle the maggots. 🤮🤮🤮 There is no way in HELL I’d poke those to find out if they were maggots or roots. Nope. I’d make my husband. 😆😆 If they were maggots the plant would have to go. 😭😭😭😭 Because … my husband would not get all of them, I know he wouldn’t, I’d fear he wouldn’t then I’d be paranoid every day. 😆😆

Get your boyfriend to poke them! 🤮😆🤮
