I laid down Sir Walter Buffalo Grass six weeks ago, preparing everything properly with under turf, fertilizer, and plenty of watering. It looked great for the first month, and I even had to mow it twice because it was growing so fast. However, after being away for three days over Christmas, I came back to find this.
Does anyone have ideas on how I can save this turf? Thank you in advance!

Did it cook? Was it bone dry when you got back?
Move it somewhere that gets sunlight.
