I'm in North Texas and I just bought this house and there was a big clump, still some that made it's way to my neighbors yard. I've chopped and pulled out what I could and ive poured the rest of my white vinegar onto what looks like the original stump. I know that bamboo can take over

Agent orange.
Nuclear blast
Cut it down, as soon as it sprouts spray with glyphosate. Repeat until gone. It’s extremely tough to get rid of because the chemical has a hard time traveling through the plant. Need to make sure all the debris is gone before spraying.
Get a Panda 🐼
One does not simply get rid of bamboo trees
Move.
Dig, spray, dig, spray, dig, spray and finally, pray. Good luck!
Rent a backhoe and dig out the roots.
Shoot it😂 ,pardon the pun
Pandas
Yes, but it takes 4-5 years. You basically burn it out by letting it grow out till it gets it’s first full leaf, then cut that back. Rinse repeat and eventually it dies from spending more energy than it can make. Other than that? There are “possibly” recepies for agent orange out there (do not! Accidentally make VX).
As others have said — think long term — be vigilant — use both physical and chemical methods.
My friend was successful by physically digging it all out — sifting the soil to remove roots and shoots. This was along a 50 ft section of shared fencing.
The neighbors on the other side used only roundup and mowing. —— So, multiple methods can be used.
Imazapyr should help you the most. Read the label though. Beware it can give bare ground coverage for quite some time
Round up – obviously there are a lot of opinions on using it (to each their own). However, that’s what I used. Cut down the stalks. Once new shoots started to pop up (with leaves), I just sprayed. May take a couple rounds. Finally dead now.
Plant mint in that area.
Rent a Panda bear.
Napalm and then Agent Orange. Only thing that worked in Nam.
Looks like Thysanolaena maxima (Tiger grass) not nearly as bad as bamboo. You should be able to cut at ground level and poison it (glyphosate will work well) and just snip off any new growth and dab a bit of poison on it. It grows quick but doesn’t spread like bamboo if you cut it at the start of winter and treat it it will grow back a lot slower.
If it’s already on your neighbor’s side, you have it forever now. Unless they are also dedicated to getting rid of it or you offer to dig it out.
