I’m back with another garden update. I’m a little disappointed that we didn’t get any snow for Christmas this year. I’ve been taking advantage of the warmer weather to do some work in my garden, even though it’s a bit too cold to plant anything new. We’ve also been making some other changes around the property, like cutting down a tree and fixing up some of the fences.
In this video, I’ll show you what I’ve been up to in my garden and around the house. I’ll also talk about my plans for the new year, including planting some new vegetables and flowers. I hope you enjoy watching!

My family and I have to fix our fence as well and we are talking about meat rabbits in the spring maybe. Tackling one project at a time.
I am replacing two crumbling wood raised beds with Vego Gardens metal beds. Sorry to name-drop, but it’s what I bought.
Otherwise, I plan to squirrel-proof my chicken coop, do extensive repairs on my tool shed, eradicate an invasive stand of elderberries, and propagate a bunch of food and landscaping plants to sell locally.
I’m glad I discovered your video. I like your approach.
My garden list is endless; cross something off and put two more tasks on it. The cold, gray, rainy days are getting to me this year, as I do want to be outside working. Planning more veggies for Spring, as well as more shrubs and perennials. Also, using more herbs for teas and salves. Happy New Year! Happy Gardening!
