So some Unfortunate Life Events happened and my wild moss propegation box got ignored and neglected for about 6 months. Today I find some liverwort (?) and some unexpected leafy boys. Any clue what I might be growing here? In NE ohio. Thanks!

The second pic looks like a maidenhair fern (or something closely related). Their spores can lay dormant for several years waiting for the right conditions to germinate. They can grow in your moss bin for a while, but will eventually compete for light, nutrients, moisture, and space. You can use a low nitrogen (moss safe) diluted fertilizer if you want to leave them there. But either pruning or transplanting them is probably best for your moss.
