So after bringing my Meyers lemon tree, Lenny, inside for the winter, he dropped all of its leaves. I got the bright idea to change out the soil for a 5-1-1 mixture. I know now it is stupid to change the soil at this time of year but cheers to learning right? Anyways, I got him a grow light that he sits under for 8ish hours a day, the ph as of yesterday was 6.0, when I repotted he got fertilizer, and I have a gadget to ensure the soil isn’t too wet and also for the ph.

This is the two week check in. We have new leaves coming out on almost all the branches and we also have buds. Should I clip the buds so the plant focuses more energy into making leaves?

I only water it when the soil is dry to my knuckle. Also the pot has good drainage.

I would just keep the light on 24/7 for veg growth until it goes back outside…..
