First pick was Friday, second was today so 2 days apart of lawn.
Gets 10-12ml in catch cups, MP rotators, checked this 3 times now just be sure water ain’t the issue.
I’ve applied soil wetter and the lawn went crazy green a week ago and now it seems to be struggling. Lawn is 8 months old. Couch wintergreen.
I found 1 army worm in my garden bed but nothing in the lawn when I did a soapy water test, I found a handful of cut worms in my front lawn but that one seems fine.
I currently am getting tones of these white/grey moths in my lawn and alot of these wasps and other wasps flying around the grass.
Is this most likely a grub issue? I’ve applied ritchgrow bug killer earlier this week so maybe that’s why no grubs showed up, will hovex termite spray work? Or there another product or is there another issue with the lawn?
A bit lost atm

The moths could indicate a caterpillar problem as they reach that later stage, but this pattern is strange. Lots of straight lines. Not consistent with insect or any environmental problem. Insects and disease problems don’t happen in straight lines (usually). The color is more consistent with heat scorch which can happen despite good watering.
What is the black structure nearby? Is it corrugated meatal of some kind? It’s summer there and hot I presume. I would guess that structure is reflecting heat and scorching the lawn. I have seen similar issues here where reflective windows cause these very odd straight streaking lines. Took us a long time to figure out that was causing it. How we found out, It actually melted a big hole lacrosse toss back net thing. Folks were like wtf is is the random hole in the net? We put our hands over where the hole was and could feel the heat being reflected back. I have also seen similar with fences
I would check that. See how hot that spot feels. One of those thermal temp guns could help but I suspect you’ll be able to tell with your hand. If that is the case this could be difficult to over come. More frequent watering and mowing a hair higher could mitigate it some but not sure that’s a solid solution.
