I grow lettuce in old gallon milk jugs cut down to just 4" just fine. Plant some and try it
You are awesome:) Love your videos and tips. I also love buying your seeds! Thank you😊
Thank you. I would like to know what brand your greenhouse is. I'll try to locate the info on your other videos.
Is MIgardener ever gonna get into hydroponics? Seems like a lucrative winter option.
Timing could not be better. For the last few years, I have battled SO MANY pests with lettuce/cabbage/choys, etc in my in-ground beds – and have been pondering whether containers (on my deck as well as inside) might be a better approach. I know it won't be a 100% – but still may provide more successful outcomes. Your video just convinced me. Thank you!
I'm in zone 4B and grew good lettuce last year in my basement with lights as a test and turned out good, was just thinking of starting again in a couple days to be growing something already.
Oh yeah!! The news is always buzzing with news of e.coli and listeria on lettuce greens.
As soon as the video ends I am ordering your heat mat.
7! 😉
I have 5 kinds of lettuce growing in my basement Most are about 4” tall. I’m moving them to bigger containers tomorrow. ( grow light system from gardeners supply)
Great tips, but I am not in control of the budget. I had a stroke and I can't do much of anything. I know how to grow lettuce, I just don't have the space with two cats in an apartment. It is difficult to grow anything in an apartment. I have a heat mat and I still grow mold not lettuce. I am just going to wait for Summer where everything grows, without control of the budget. LOL
I am in zone 9b, low AZ Desert and all the lettuce I recently planted bolted because we are still too warm. Getting ready to start them again!
Does your green house get below freezing at night when you’re growing your lettuce?
Thank you 😊
I have been growing lettuce indoors for 4 years last month. I have not bought it since I started but I grow in in Kratky Passive hydroponic totes. I can't think of growing outside again. HA I am eating a big dinner salad and have Crisp Mint and Amish Deer Tongue mixed.
Lettuce was in my plans after the New Years day passes.
I have never successfully grown lettuce
I've grown Wasabi but can't get lettuce to grow lol
I learn so much from your videos since I am in the same zone as you- Thank you for your time putting together the information that is easy to understand and follow
Awesome!
