We’re fighting food insecurity with edible landscapes!

Public Health works with partners to build edible landscapes across the County. You’re looking at the first!

Each garden provides fresh fruits and vegetables to neighbors nearby. One local garden harvested 600 pounds of produce this summer. That’s around 300 meals going right to our community!

Our amazing community partners put in the hard work to maintain the gardens and come up with creative ways to keep them thriving. Plus they get a little help from local pollinators like butterflies and bees!
