Noteworthy characteristics of this species is that the leaves are almost grey in color (unfortunately, the camera couldn't capture the color accurately). In fact, the base is also dark colored, so it would look like it's rotting to someone unfamiliar with this species.
However, to be honest, I find this species lackluster, overshadowed by the more popular xerographica. Sorry to those who love this species. š
