I adopted this money plant a year and a half ago as a baby, it’s been doing amazing with growing and getting babies, up until two months ago. Now it seems to be fighting for its life.

It’s lost a good amount of its bottom leaves, which are turning brown both in the centre and the edges, and all the leaves are curling. I thought it might be not enough light, so I got a grow light (my windows face north and it’s been an exceptionally dark winter here, 6 hours of sun in december so far) but that doesn’t seem to be helping.

I usually water from the bottom when it’s pretty dry, that always worked but maybe I just got lucky? Any tips on how I can help him?

Move your light source closer. Give the dirt a good soak from the top and make sure it drains completely. Don’t let it sit in its own water. and let it dry completely before the next soaking. Also, try misting the leaves. they may need a higher humidity with the new light source. When it starts actively growing again, give it a small dose of plant food for the coming spring time and she will bounce back better than before.
