  2. I have the same wood splitter. Purchased from TS a few years back. It is a great wood splitter. Not for a firewood biz….. but we heat our 2400 sqft home with wood heater. Burn 8 or 9 ricks of wood per year. For that type purpose you can’t go wrong with this thing. And we have split 20” rounds on it. They make a little side piece that bolts on it for resting wood on etc. About $50 and worth it. Enjoyed your video! Ours runs without the choke on btw. :). We have some videos with us using it on our channel. Have a great day!

  3. I need a buddy thats done with his wood splitter. Thats what i call a good buddy. I think i would have even traded him his favorite 6-pack for it.😊

  4. Don't need to change carb, just disassemble, run a wire through main jet, clean the residue, put back together and fire it up. It's actually very simple.

  5. sadly alot of equipment made is pretty much disposable! at least with the log splitter you can semi work on it and if the engine dies you just repower it and bring it back!

  6. As a Briggs and Stratton Master Technician, Seafoam is the WORST thing you can put into your engine… It causes extra heat to be generated and can burn your rings or warp your head… I have rebuilt thousands of engines that used Seafoam and every single one of them had the same issue… Hard to start, no compression, low compression, blown head gasket, or running on partial choke… Do a compression test, and those cheap amazon carbs are a hit or miss. There is a reason they are only $12 and you cant expect a $12 carb to perform the same as a $150 carb… you get what you pay for… And if you want to blow up a diesel engine, put seafoam in it…

  7. I will run enther free gas in that I will let it run for 1 hr before see if it gets run better with the old carb I not replace it if I don’t have to

  8. Check the carb gasket for leaks. Spray some brake cleaner around the base of the carburetor while running. Listen if the motor speeds up or smooths out. You have an issue if you have to run at part choke.

  9. Running the engine with the choke on for a while can cause the engine to run too warm, causing valves to stick which can wear the compression relief on the cam. There are a couple of possibilities on what is causing this. If there is a gas filter check to see if it needs changing. Could be something stuck in the orifice or emulsion tube impeding gas flow on the original carb. Clean them out with a piece of wire and shoot carb clean through the holes. If the carb has adjustable jets turning the jets out a little may fix it. If that doesn't help or if jets aren't adjustable, you may need to ream out the jets a little. Don't go crazy doing this or the engine might run rich and you can't make the hole smaller. they make fractional drill bits for this. don't go more than one size larger without checking to see how it runs.

  10. Check the fuel line for an inside filter you can't see from outside it's like a twisted up wire inside the line if you can grab it with needle nose pliers pull it out and get a regular inline filter and it'll work fine you'll start to get enough gas through this is especially for the Honda engine model but I'd definitely look for one in it

  11. Drill out the main jet to the next size up. Or find the jet # and order the next size up. But tbh you're always better off cleaning and using the stock carbs. Far and away better than the ones made of Chinesium.
