Welcome Gardeners! Today I will be planting Yellow Trumpet Daffodil Bulbs along the pathway in my front yard garden. (with a little garden cleanup before I get started.) l will also include a few basic bulb planting tips, best time to plant spring bulbs in the ground and how deep to plant Spring Bulbs for best results. Of course you always want to plant bulbs pointy side up. I did not include that in my video so hopefully you already knew that. As far as Pre-Chilling bulbs? I will save that for another video. This video is more about me enjoying the day while planting bulbs. I hope you enjoy the experience too while hanging out with me in the garden.

Garden Happy is a small garden located in California Zone 9B. Thank you so much for watching my video. I hope you have a BEAUTIFUL day in your garden too! 😀 Liz

  1. Good morning my Garden friends it feels so good to finally get my daffodils in the ground! I hope you all have a happy Monday! 💙💚💛🧡💜 Liz

  2. Good Morning Liz! What a fun day in your garden 🌼 so fun to watch you have fun in your garden. And… you reminded me that I have some bulbs in my garage refrigerator that I need to get into the soil 😬
Thank you for all the nuggets of knowledge. Love your garden lights too – so pretty! Have a beautiful and blessed day/week! 🌼🌼🌼

  3. Hi Liz,
I so enjoy listening to your enthusiasm for gardening.
    Protect those precious chickens 🐔 ❤️ 🐔
It looks great 👍 and you are going to have a beautiful daffodil show ❤
    ❤Peggy❤

  4. Hi Liz! It's going to look so pretty with all those daffodils blooming next Spring! Question – do you have to pre-chill daffodils in your area? I always love learning how different areas do things. In New Hampshire, our climate is so cold so the daffodils (as well as other spring blooming bulbs) get the pre-chill treatment automatically while in the ground. 💛

  5. I enjoyed watching this so much! I’ve planted zero bulbs of any kind this year. You’ve got me wanting to go purchase some kind of bulbs now! I can’t wait to see your flowers when they bloom in spring!💚

  7. Had a rough day so seeing you have a new video out was a pleasure. It was a, little Long Island Ice Tea day to rest up some before I go back out and feed the animals and end my work day! Society Garlic is on my plant list of things to try!

  8. Fantastic video, Garden Happy. Looking forward to seeing your next upload from you. I hit the thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the great work! I'm curious, have you considered any companion planting strategies for your daffodils and society garlic to enhance their growth and pest resistance?

  9. What a lovely spring you will have with those sunny daffs greeting you each time you come home. I didn't get any this year and I am hoping all the ones I had last years have multiplied. I do have a few tulips but I will put those in containers. The snow is to come on Thursday so I would say it is finally cold enough to put them out. It has been such a warm fall.

  10. That's going to be a really nice look with daffy's in between the garlic.
The garlic is going to be wonderful when it shoots back up.
I cut mine back about a month ago and it's already filled out.
I'm excited to see the rustic cement walkway adorned with the spring bonanza of showy yellow and purple.

  11. Great tips! They are going to be so pretty in the spring.where do you get your energy? You make everything look so easy. ❤🌸💐🌺
